Website Extensions and Applications
There are many different ways to extend a website built by Business Website Designers. Sometimes, it is as easy as showing a GoogleMap of your business location. Other times, you may require a complete set of interactive forums and online documentation directory for your members. Or, you may look at this site and realise that a complete intranet can be built for your business for well under the $5,000.00 purchase price of "business intranet" packages, that you then have to configure.
The Very First Extension
The first website extension you will have seen is the "Slideshow Advance" at the top of this page, just under the menu. This is a great way to blend a mid-sized image and a few short paragraphs into a visually impressive display piece for your site. As a user navigates through the pictures, the mini-article for each picture is shown on the right. Widths, images, articles and colours can all be customised for your site. The cost for this extension is $15.00 per slide you wish to display (a "slide" is a short article and associated picture).
Getting Around This Website
The top menu on each page lists the major "types" of extensions that we have available. At the bottom of each page you visit (or inside the extension itself), you will see all the info you need regarding each extension - its name, what we need to implement it, how you would normally use it and how much it will cost. Browse as much as you'd like and make sure you check out at least one thing from every menu! Here's one important thing to remember:
Just because we have provided an example doesn't mean that is how your business has to use the extension. You can use an image slider to show off case studies. A forum to deliver documentation and procedure manuals. A news ticker to provide advice. Use your imagination - the best websites are always creatively designed and put together with exact goals in mind. |
